 So... a few hours ago you were having the time of your life at Lethal. We were in the best feud in years, and if you were following the forums you know what we had on the front page was not even the tip of the iceberg. Then... well, if you think we’re assholes I guess you could say karma struck. If I was more inclined to create something right now, I’d make a fake letter from the webmasters of Goldberg’s site and work a gimmick that Lethal, who claimed to laugh at the very notion of such things, had actually backed down when we were threatened with a lawsuit. Of course, there would have been hints it might not be on the level, but I’d have made it look official enough to leave more than a few doubts. But that would’ve required really taking a look at some legal documents and trying to recreate them and really, I just want to get something up to clear the air here. WE HAVE NOT PULLED ANY CONTENT BECAUSE OF THE LEGAL JACKHAMMER OF BILLGOLDBERG.COM!! Now, the fallout from it did bring a slew of new traffic in here. Most of our forum threads rarely reach more than a few hundred views. Comparatively speaking, in the hours of noon to 4 PM today, a single thread in there had risen from 400 to well over 3000 views. I may never be sure if that had ANYTHING to do with it, or we were just the victims of really horrible coincidence... but about 4:15 PM this afternoon Lethal crashed. To be honest I was almost afraid to contact the host, because I have tons of respect for them and couldn’t believe they’d toss us without so much as an explanation because some faggot said we slandermented them. But it turns out the hard drive crashed... to the point it had to be physically replaced. I was just hoping we’d be back by midnight. Of course the one disturbing outcome is that the amazing forum thread is lost forever, but assuming none of the staff still use the outdated method of just writing a post in the “send” box we should have all the front page material back shortly. As always, thank you for your patronage... as well as your patience. Now... Even though the first two responses were pretty disrespectful considering the bitch smacking they’d just been given, I felt kicking them while they were down was unwarranted. They made a mistake trying to mess with professional assholes, but it looked like they had learned from it. Therefore, I felt a hatchet burial was called for. We could’ve stretched it, but with the site down it sort of killed the flow. And damnit I was respectful to the point of nausea. Read it for yourself if you don’t believe me. And then just when you think everything was all civil and we’d had our fun and it was time to move on since they’d already tapped out and everyone could leave with their heads held high with the excitement of the previous days’ events behind them...
