Bytch from the Sytch

Bytch from the Sytch
by ODBJBG

Welcome to the last of the old and first of the new. I didn't expect it to come like this, but I had planned to reveal this soon anyway. I'd been talking about changes to my column, and well this would be the change. However after being threatened by "Legal Action" I'll just put it all out on the table and get it over with. In the end either this will be considered one of the best practical jokes in the history of the IWC, or people will feel my pain and see how things ended up the way they did.

As a writer and longtime fan of Pro-Wrestling, I attempted numerous times to get a spot on 411. I tried to write TNA columns, TNA recaps, and just random wrestling columns. However, they never got taken. Sadly some really subpar writers got spots on 411, and I didn't. It pissed me off a bit, but I came to deal with it. However Hyatte began writing some things in his columns that interested me.

First he seemed to try to work some sort of deal where he would hook up with Missy Hyatt. He also went out of his way to make lots of other web writers look like a fool. Hyatte was untouchable.

I decided I'd play a prank on him, string him along for a few weeks, then pawn it off to some of his hated rivals. They would certainly get a kick out of him falling all over himself for "Tammy Sytch". However, I quickly found Hyatte to be a fairly nice guy, who didn't care much for fans of his, and was overly horny towards Tammy. But all in all. He was pretty down to Earth. So after a few weeks of silly stuff, he offered me a spot in his column. I did my best to avoid his offers at Cyber Sex, and went on about my business. I didn't want to tank the guy, because I liked writing my column.

I decided to play around with it, and I think I really found my niche in it. I rarely if ever brought anything to the table about Tammy Sytch. I usually spent most of my time talking about wrestling. Things I like, things I don't. I didn't go into defaming Sytch. In fact, I have hundreds if not thousands of emails from fans of 411 who have come to respect Sytch better as a person thanks to my writings. Most people emailed me said they were reading Hyatte's column because of me. I was carrying his column. Or so the fans told me. Even he admits that.

In hindsight, I suppose you can't do people favors. Writing as this "bogus Tammy" has likely garnered the real Tammy more fans, and if nothing else, she didn't get her name dragged through the mud. However, it appears that the people advising her have come to me, to tell me to cease and desist. Fair enough. I admit to making a big, big mistake in letting it go on as long as it did. However, I think I might deserve some praise for digging her reputation out of gutter. Either way, I was in the wrong.

In the end, I just wanted to write a column on a website I liked, about a passion I love. When it's all said and done, I did that, if only for a few weeks, under a false pretense.

I don't want a contract with TNA, because I'm not a wrestler. I was so proud of my spot on the IWC because so many people here said I couldn't do it. I wasn't Internet worthy, but I made it into the top 30 of the IWC in my first year. And according to Flea, it wasn't based on who I was claiming to be.

However this all comes to a end. The REAL Tammy Sytch (who hasn't been in the wrestling headlines for a year or more, and when she has its been big announcements like "I'M RETIRING TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT!" and nearly being put in jail for making a fool of herself at MLW shows) has decided that my column was "tarnishing" her squeaky clean reputation. That I and 411 were garnering some sort of publicity and profit from it.

I never got anything but a column out of it, and since 411 has NEVER advertised my column I doubt they gained anything from it. However, with that said, I can see that despite being a longtime fan of Tammy Sytch and going out of my way to try to make her appear to be a genuinely nice person, I realized that you can't try to make someone look good if they themselves don't approve of the good look you try to give them.

So I'm not Tammy Sytch. But you probably read that already in Hyatte's column. He tried to run me down, and make himself look good. But even his own fans didn't buy it. He got played like a fiddle, and his only rebuttal was to try to make me look bad. Which he couldn't. Fair enough. I've done my part. To the hundreds of fans who thought that Tammy cares, she doesn't. That doesn't mean that I don't care, because I do. I tried to get 411wrestling.com to let me write my own column, but after I Punk'D Hyatte, they wanted nothing to do with me. The reason? I pulled off such a great joke, and was actually so GOOD, they had no choice but to try to make me be the bad guy. Fair enough, as I will now write for LethalWrestling. I've already done months worth of columns at 411wrestling. Been there, done that. Time to move on to greener pastures. If this site gets less hits, who cares. 411 is carried on Scott Keith's name anyway. Hyatte is probably close to retiring, I was his last good thing. If he makes it another 6 months it'll be a miracle. After all, I have tons of emails saying my view is fresh, different and new to the Internet scene. With that said, I'm done posing as Tammy. Hopefully this avoids any legal action against anyone.

However I do want to note, that I was sincere in EVERYTHING, I said about anything I said. With the one exeption of my pen name. And anytime I told a "Tammy" story, it was a rehash of something that was posted on the net years ago. I've never once misquoted her.

So why keep the Bytch from the Sytch name? Well I thought it would be fun. After all, you can name a column whatever. I'm not Tammy, nor am I claiming to be, but hey I made the Bytch from the Sytch column. I carried Hyatte's ass for months, and now I'm off on my own. Free of the creative handcuffs of pretending to be a crackhead. Free of being saddled in Hyatte's lackluster "I only post twice a month" weekly column. And best of all, now all the credit, and or backlash, comes to me...The ODB...JBG.

With that said, expect a slightly different column now. This will have some funny bits in it, as well as honest to goodness wrestling news. It's something so rarely done anymore, it's almost like a new concept. Except it's what every website is supposed to offer, but doesn't anymore. LethalWrestling.com is the new home of Mr. #26 on IWC Top 100. Welcome to my world!

Top Ten Things I hate about the IWC:

So lets get right off to some fun shall we? Each week, for 10 weeks I am going to start off my column with this little section. Its 10 things I hate about the internet wrestling community. They aren't in any order, just the 10 most things I hate that go on everywhere. First and foremost I want to talk about something I hate, and I mean HATE in the IWC! Yes, even I have complaints about the IWC. You see there are hundreds of guys who do this. I think the worst guy is Scott Keith, yes the big cheese himself. But almost EVERY recapper does this. Here is a example. Let's say on a LIVE Raw this week, I dunno, fucking Tito Santana makes his big return to the E and challenges Triple H. You follow me so far? Well here is what the recapper will do.

9:02 PM

Raw is on the air, and J.R & the King talk about tonight's big match. Austin is out, and he says he has a surprise for Triple H. This seems like a good excuse for Tito Santana to come back.

Rest of recap....

10:45 PM

And here comes the surprise challenger to Triple H...Its...Tito Santana, just as I predicted at the top of the show!

You see, every recapper who posts their recaps sometimes 4 and 5 hours after the show, expect us to believe they guess the big surprise, HOURS before it happens. Keith is just the most obvious example. Check TNA's new DOA surprise last week, chances are if someone recapped it, they guessed Russo. Despite no rumors about Russo being it. We know that you didn't know at the top of the show, and just wrote that in to make yourself look "smart" after you found out the surprise. Keith does this almost every week, no matter what the surprise is, or how meaningless his guess is. He ALWAYS knows what will happen at the end of Raw, at the beginning of the show, because he's fucking the Amazing Karnac or something. But the reality is, he doesn't publish his rants til after the show is off the air, thus he has already seen the show. You never see live reports where they guess the surprise. Funny how people only have this power when it's a recap.

Just a personal pet peeve of mine. Look for it, next time there is a surprise in wrestling, and you read a recap. 9 out 10 chances, your recapper guesses it early in the show. RIIIIIIGHT!

And now, the NEWS!

Wrestling News:

The Big story this week is....Eddie Guerrero winning the Smackdown World Title. While I have to admit this excites me on some levels. Is it really too little too late? I mean Eddie is really talented, but this whole Latino Heat/Cheat to win thing is already 3 or 4 months in as him being a face. How much longer can it last? It'll be interesting to see where they go with all this. Either way, we'll get some good matches out of all of it. But it's funny to me, Eddie is World Champ for the first time, and yet I'm more interested in what Chavo and Chavo Sr. are doing. I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Speaking of crumbling, what's with all these rumors of TNA falling apart from the inside. It's really weird. With the WWE we have some really good sources who usually break rumors and the news is 75% legit. Yet with TNA, every week their stories are totally false, rumors are really bad, or just totally made up. Now TNA's locker room is bad. Yet 2 weeks ago it was really good? Weird. We need a better rumor leaker for TNA, because they never get anything right. It's also hard to say morale is down because they pushed back the "Bound For Glory" PPV date again, when in fact, they have never announced a date again since the first time it got cancelled. Yet the "news" is this is the 3rd time it's been moved. How can it be the 3rd time, if they've only announced it once? As I've said before.....Wrestling rumors are 90% bullshit.

I feel sorry for Zach Gowen. The kid had talent, was being used wellin TNA, and got a shot with WWE. Then the WWE REALLY showed how class-less they are and just used him up and spit him out. Not that they don't do that to EVERYONE, but with Gowen it's so obvious.

I'm also sad to see Kanyon fired. Actually no I'm not. Kanyon was the only man who was OVER during the Invasion not named Stone Cold, and he really was the MVP. Yet the WWE had no use for him? HAHAHA! Silly WWE. WWE's loss is TNA's gain. And ours, as the company will use him correctly.

Ohhh, I just remembered. Does anyone know what was going to happen WAY WAY back when Eddie Guerrero was in the WWE the first time, and was trying to join the Hardy's? He got fired about half way into the angle for being a crackhead or whatnot. The angle never got to play out all the way. Eddie Guerrero was really interesting then, and I just always wondered what his plans were once he was inside the Hardy camp. To bang Lita I guess.

Oh Oh...Its WrestleMania...fighting to survive! YA!

The biggest show of them all is upon us and it looks something like this.....

WWE Title Match
Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle

World Title Match
Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels

WWE US Title Match
The Big Show vs. John Cena

World Tag Team Titles Match
Booker T & RVD vs. TBA

Cruiserweight Battle Royal
Participants: Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, Shannon Moore, Paul London, Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, Akio, Sakoda, Jamie Noble, Nunzio, Kidman

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg

The Undertaker vs. Kane

Chris Jericho vs. Christian

Randy Orton & Batista vs. The Rock & Mick Foley

Sable & Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler & Jackie Gayda

So what does the ODB think about all this? Well I like it, at least for the most part. The problem is in 2 matches. Its not the two matches everyone else complains about either. ROCK, should not be in the Foley/Orton affair. As well, there shouldn't be any kind of cruiserweight match.

WHAT? You say? Well look people, lets face it. The card is filled with young guys and good matches. WWE hates the cruisers. Why even waste a spot on them? I mean what has any cruiserweight done that was even remotely exciting in the WWE in the past 3 months? NOTHING! Why are all these guys on the card. Here's how I'd fix it.

Rock versus Ric Flair

And in that one move you have two big names in a high profile match. Scrap that crappy battle royal. It doesn't mean ANYTHING to anybody. Do Akio, Sakoda, Jamie Noble, Nunzio, Kidman really deserve a spot at WM20 and not Flair? Give me Hogan, hell give me Sgt.Slaughter over Akio, Sakoda, Jamie Noble, Nunzio, and Kidman. Those guys are jobbers on SMACKDOWN, why are they even going to be featured?

If WWE wants to do a battle royal, do another gimmicks battle royal, or do a legends battle royal and have a bunch of the guys from past Mania's in it.

Some people would say get rid of the Sable match, but that has publicity, it has a angle )albeit a crappy one) going for it. Plus I wanna see Sable, I think she's hot for 45! Besides we need some tits and ass at Mania!

Oh yea, I'd have Hogan in the crowd at WMXX. At the end of the Triple H Raw Title Match, where Triple H wins. I'd have him call Hogan out, and Have Hogan beat him, just like he did Yoko at Mania 9. I know its lame, but the fans would love it, and Hogan should be atop the 20th Mania. He did make fucking WWF & WrestleMania after all.

In Closing:

Well that does it for week 1. I know it wasn't that exciting, but I had to get a lot of the formal stuff out of the way. Now you know a bit more of who I am, and what I am about. This is a new column. It's a new day, and it's going to be a exciting column. I'll have a feedback section next week. So long as I get some feedback and all.

I'll leave you with this wrestling thought for the day....

If you could have one past WWF superstar appear at WM20 and do anything, who would it be and WHY?

That's my Bytch!
